Spider

Post by Deanimator »

A different spider than the one which had been living in my driver's side mirror.

I went down to the Cleveland Metroparks and didn't see anything but a couple of dragonflies and a couple of bees which were too quick to photograph.

I saw him hanging from the mirror when I came back from the trail.

Spider

Looks like a crab spider. They usually set up housekeeping on a flower all summer, adopt the color of the flower and await victims. Apparently this one made some bad choices searching for a summer residence.

I thought it was a crab spider, but wasn't sure.

There was another spider living in the mirror. It was a darker color. I've haven't seen that one in a week or two. Today was the first day I saw this one. He was still hanging from the mirror when I got home. When I came back out, it was gone.

If it shows up again tomorrow. I'm going to try shooting it at f/11.
