Posting here after a long gap.
Recently a paper wasp made its nest in my garden. Decided to photograph the nest along with the wasp.
I specifically used the MPE to practice on small subjects and how I have to change my style of taking photos to workout ideal photo scenarios. I have been reading Paul's macro blog and that has given me some ideas.
Here is the setup shot. Canon 80D with MPE 65mm. Manfrotto 055XPROB with cheap rail. Venus KX 800.
Thanks for watching.

Thanks pwnell and Lou Jost.
The softboxes that you see in the setup shot are the official Venus softboxes.
The problem specially with Venus is all the diffuser designs on the net cater to the MT 24EX which stays on the lens and its nearby area.
The main advantage of the venus is flexibility which you can again see in the setup shot. One head is lighting the subject while the other is lighting the leaf to bring in the green colors. It did confuse the camera in terms of the white balance. That is why the colors in the first photo are off.
I spent close to around 3 hours to get photos. The first half hour was spent in no motion at all. I had to make the wasp comfortable that there is an object in its flight path and its not going to harm her(or him).
