These are from a trip to Borneo with the wife.

1 It got under my arm

It is impressive how they can change colour so much. The first 4 shots are of the same individual. I think they are the same species as the last one of the pair even though they look quite different.

It was the wife that took the first 4, as these are, i am afraid, of my own armpit. Part of the reason i think they are the species below is because it stung as it bit and there was a bruise for about 10 days afterwards

Yeurch! Smashing set of shots though. But one of the few times I'm not at all motivated to try and emulate the results! :)

Leeches are right up there with ticks as some of my favorites.

I like creepy crawlies, but not leeches. Still, these are lovely little monsters.
