The first "stack panorama" experiment with WeMacro. It was created by bringing together a total of 300 photographs (2 horizontal frames x 150). The original resolution of the photo is at "9950 x 3950" pixels.

Nice stack (much better at the large image).

It seems to show the wings attachment remains, so it is a queen or male, is it?

When I found them in the garden, they had no wings on them :(

I agree with Pau.

The shape of the thorax is typical for flying individuals. There must bee some extra space for the muscles driving the wings.

It is a normal part of ant queen behaviour to loose the wings after mating.
