I have noticed that you have some real fine bokeh in many of the picture backgrounds. What lens do you use?

Paul, what kind of equipment do you use for your field UV macros? (light source, filters, diffusers...) They go very nice!

Thanks everyone.

Pau - nothing special, just a 365nm 3W UV torch

Mark - A different lens for every occasion, but mostly either the mpe or canon 100.

What is your secret to get a insect to stay still that long? Is it a pet ? Surprised

yep, an entire rainforest of pets Wink

most of these insects use camouflage and thus are unlikely to move fast or far. Others, like the moth simply require delicate handling, with no sudden movements. Approach from below rather above, casting a shadow, like a predator.
