Hello everyone.

I have saw a Olympus ch30 used for 600 Euros and i am thinking about buying it.

Is it any good for taking photos with it?
I have searched the internet to see some photos taken with it but i didnt find any. Does the lens are any good?

It may be a high price (or not) for a used CH30, depending of the optics it is bundled with.

You can take pictures with any microscope but a trinocular head is most desirable, also the usual objectives with this kind of student microscopes are the lower end achromats (EA...and so). For micrography at least Plan objectives are recommended, also Dark field and phase contrast condensers are desirable options to have.

My main goal is to take some photos of "pond life".

For the same price should i order this new one?
