The demise of one, is the opportunity for another

Post by Joco »

Sorry, I could not find a better translation for a Dutch saying.....

Here are some results of an outing to the park. For some reason I find tree trunks, with all life on them, nice subjects.

The images are taken with the Novoflex Balpro1 bellows, still in an unmodded state (I asked for advise in an earlier thread).

Lens is the Zeiss S-Planar 1:4 100mm (originally for the Contax bellows) + polarizer. If anyone has any information on this lens I'd love to hear it. Information is scarce.Btw I really like it, to my eyes very nice rendition and great color. That being said this lens has the advantage of always being shot on tripod at iso 100 and carefully focussed.

All stacked using Zerene Stacker.

Very, very nice. I really like the colors. Your lens/bellows set-up is delivering nice sharp results!

Thanks Leonard. I am very satisfied with the S-Planar. Every time I use it I notice the rich colors too. Details and textures are wonderful too.

Btw I always use a polariser which makes a lot of difference.
