Excellent images! Very nice.
(When imaging yellow pollen is often difficult to get good detail and tonalities, but it is excellent here)

Great images, especially the first. Love the pollen surface detail.

Hi guys,
Many thanks for your comments!
It was not easy to take the photographs of this wilted plant.

The last couple of times I tried I gave up because I couldn't stop them moving :roll:
Well done, maybe you made me have another go!

Star of Bethlehem

Bethlehem Pennsylvania was settled by Moravians from Bohemia. On a mountain above the City of bethlehm, there is a giant star illuminated all year long.

That's it! I am buying M3!

By the way - impressive stackings without typical halos. A lot of post process or magic? Zerene Stacker? Implessive!

Hi MacroLab3D,
The big issue is the system of the M3. Magic lantern cannot be used but chdk.
Yes, Zerene, sub-stacks (Pmax->Pmax, Dmap) & retouching.

Never heard of such things. I am using Digital Photo Professional 4. If this works - i am fine. Perfect camera for macro?

Hi MacroLab3D,
The internal operating system of the M3 is not the same as in the cameras with a mirror.
Magic lantern can manage the external lenses but CHDK cannot up to now :-(
BTW, Magic Lantern and CHDK are firmware enhancements that are loaded from the SD-card.
