Are you awear that honeybees have five eyes?
They have two compound eyes that do the actual visual work and three ocelli eyes. What do these eyes do?
The one dorsal and two lateral ocelli contain light-sensitive receptor cells, these eyes detect ultra violet light.
The two lower sockets are where the antenna should be.
