Davholla- I find the Scutigera the easiest of the centipedes to spot with prey. For the others, I think it is more a matter of their grounded lifestyle and that they are most likely in the leaves where we are less likely to search for them. Scutigera can usually be spotted hanging from leaves, branches or tree trunks with their prey, making them ideal for spotting.
