Gomphidius subroseus spores (darkfield)

Post by kit1980 »

Mushroom spores (I believe it's Gomphidius subroseus) in darkfield with Omax microscope and Nikon CF 50x iris oil objective.

Spores are about 14-15 microns × 6-7 microns in size.

Such small individual subjects (spores, small pollen) can be difficult to image with a light microscope. You have done very well here! Good darkfield, nice even resolution across the frame.
