I hope those things don't show up around here. The article did not reference a health threat from the leeches, I wonder what viruses and other nasty threats they may carry :?: Interesting bit of information there Mike, thanks :D

hmmm, i thought you guys would be used to these things, i encounter them all the time in the feild, only got a chance to photograph a colorfull one, once though they didnt come out very good, bad DOF.

they theyre supposively pretty harmless ken, and apprently trying to remove them dose more damage to you then leaving them on you untill there finished there meal, though most people dont like this idea of letting them feast untill there satisfied.

never seen one, glad i haven't. wouldnt want a few of those sucking on me while im asleep.
