move camera to specimen or vice versap

Is there a preference to move the camera toward the specimen to be photographed or move the specimen . Perhaps it is just my choice? Does either particularly avoid shaking of the specimen when viewed thru live view .

It only matters about lighting. If you move the subject you should ideally move the lighting with it.
