I was quite pleased that for once you can actually just see the gel tube this rotifer lives in.

I am completely unfamiliar with this beast except through pictures. The gel tube shows very well here -- thanks for mentioning it or I might not have even noticed it, or thought it was something unrelated to the rotifer!

Hi Graham... nice bunch of images you have recently posted.
This Colletheca really shows a variety of details that are sometimes tough to see in one image. Nice!
