Copper butterfly (2nd pic added)

It belongs to Lycaenidae family I guess.

The Small Copper or the Common Copper, Lycaena phlaeas?
At least it is very small.

Looks like a studio shot, doesn't it?

Long lens, wide aperture ---> smooth background. An advantage of the larger format DSLR, versus compact digital.

A beautiful capture, Nikola, and a specimen with not a scale out of place! Could be you caught it on its first day out.

Should I say it is full frame and handheld? Actually one hand shot. Maybe you are asking yourselfs what I was doing with other hand?

Well, this camera is much heavier than my old pocket cameras so it is not easy to change its position to desired angle. And if you also with it must change position of your body and head to stay sticked with your eye on viewfinder (I didn't must with my old lightweight pocket cameras!), it makes things even more complicated.
Well, now you guess. I used my left hand to change position and angle of the flower together with the butterfly!. I've rotated it along most weird axis, even almost upside-down and this little guy didn't complain! This is the most cooperative little butterfly I ever found!

No cheating with background here. See next image with same flower and same butterfly about three minutes later.

This is very pretty, Nikola. This is the first time I've ever seen a "tailed" copper butterfly. Nice job!
