As I am still thinning out the lens collection, I am selling the following lens :
Reichert Neupolar 6.3/100, excellent condition both optically & mechanically. This is a rare lens, very similar in performances, behaviour & rendition to the Leitz Photar line. Reverse-Tessar 4/3 layout, aperture scale in mm instead of f-values (I can give the conversion scale I have calculated).
I am selling because I have the Leitz photar 80 which is easier to use in terms of bellows draw, and the Summar 120 which gives me more lens/subject clearance.
The optimal range of the Neupolar seems to be 1:2 to 2.5:1, optimal apertures f8 to f16.
The lens has a very unusual mount but also fits perfectly in a standard M42 microscope adapter as shown in one of the photos (the adapter is not for sale).
