Anyone have any experiance/advice on a good macro flash bracket? I would love to invest in a good one for my 30D + 580EX Speedlite.
What do you use and how do you like it?
Thanks.

Hi Adrian,
I recently bought this one.
http://www.speedgraphic.co.uk/prod.asp? ... sh+Bracket
It's quite sturdy and flexible, although it's a bit awkward to handle until you get used to it.
I bought it for use in outdoor macro with my Nikon D200. I can use them in remote mode and enable focal plane shutter sync so that I can get high shutter speeds to control ambient light, and still have enough flash power to freeze a moving subject.
This is what it looks like with both my SB800 guns attached.
Hope this helps.

Adrian,
The Wimberley bracket is an excellent, though somewhat pricey bracket. I have seen some innovate people get similar ball & socket components themselves and build their own of this styling too. The ball & sockets are commonly used for GPS mounts.
www.ram-mount.com is one company that sells similar components.
