Several years ago, Howard Taylor wrote and self-published a book called "Rotifers, Habitat to Archival Slide". I've been looking for a copy for some time and have been quite unable to find one. Even the University of California library system doesn't have it listed.
Does anyone know where I might find a copy?
Thanks.

I tried Googling with various options, and literally couldn't find any source for this book. First time I've had that happen. 99% of the time Amazon's book sellers have copies for sale, even of fairly obscure books.
Good luck with your search. Perhaps one of the online book sellers would search for it on some sort of prearranged commission basis? It's hard to think of it as a rare book, but maybe that's just what it is now.
(I would be glad to lend you my copy but I don't have one.) _________________ -Phil

Phil,
I tried Google and pretty much everything else I could think of before posting this request. The ONLY copy I've been able to find is in the library of the Postal Microscopy Society in Britain. I may need to join in order to borrow it !

Here's a 6 year old address and phone number for ordering directly from Howard Taylor. I hope it's still active.

Genera,
Unfortunately, Mr. Taylor passed away several years ago. I already tried the email. It isn't active. Thanks though. I didn't try the phone number on the assumption it now belonged to someone else. Perhaps I need to test that assumption.
Tom
I just checked the phone number - I forgot I had already done that - it's been disconnected. |
