Most likely, your camera and lens are not pointing exactly along the rail's direction of travel - so the image shifts left and up a little bit with each step (in this example).

Pixels along the right and bottom edges end up being duplicated to fill the widening gap as the stack progresses. Aligning the camera and lens more exactly will fix it for future images, but a simple crop will fix this one.

Cheers

Edit: it looks like there might be some rotation too, but that could be caused by the specimen moving (wilting) during the stack.

For more thoughts about these "edge streaks", see "My output image has a band of streaks on one side. Why is that?", on the Zerene Stacker FAQs page.

Some further insight may come from using the techniques described in another FAQ, "How can I detect movement in my stack?"

Ok beatsy, and yes you are right the direction from the rail to the flower were a bit off aligning
i would try the aligning more exactly and hope the aligning will fix it then for me
i think the rotation on the pitcher could be that the flower was wilting indeed.
Thank you very much for your gaint message. =D>
