That's one elegant filter holder! I'd add some through-holes so they can be mounted onto optical boards and slots for magnets underneath. I like this idea. I'm gonna make one for the filters I use. :D :D

Saul, are you aware of the eBay VeRO program? They'll take down any offending listings.

This looks nice!
Have you tested it with a THK KR20 rail?
I just received the rail and would like to adapt a Wemacro motor

Nema 14 stepper motor adapter for THK KR20 rail. Note: maximum shaft length is about 22mm as designed. M3 nut spacing is a bit tight, per my preference, but feel free to make it looser or please ask and I will republish the file with a looser nut spacing if anyone has issues with their printer. Tested and prints well with a good quality printer.

Awesome thread, just be very careful to 3d printed parts that are very close to heat sources (ex. lights) because they can deteriorate and develop gases that can affect optics. Something similar happened to Swarovski when they moved from metal to soft-touch plastics for their spot scope.

17. Canon M6 MK2 SD Card Extension Cable Adapter

Post by Saul »

17. Canon M6 MK2 SD Card Extension Cable Adapter

The open door tab on the Canon M6 Mark II enables camera power when the door is open, allowing the use of an SD card extension for focus stacking or time-lapse photography.
Insert a metal pin into the small opening at the base of the tab—either by gluing or heating—to reinforce the tab and make it stronger.

1.Attach the SD adapter casing with the short flathead 1/4-20 screw to the camera.
2.Slide in the adapter cable.
3.Slide in the tab part on the cable.
4.Insert the SD side into the camera.
5.Slide on the tab part on the back side of the SD insert.
6.Insert the battery or power supply.
