These are all studio shots with Canon 7D Mark II and Sigma 50mm macro and Canon 65 mm MP lens.
Dragonfly-more of the same--maybe not.

Do you recall what apertures were set on the lens? They seem overall just a tad less sharp overall than I would expect with those lenses... perhaps from using an aperture that is too small. This can also be caused by the software/method used to "downsize" the full-res image to web size. In many cases it is desirable to do some sharpening after a significant down-size.
