These are interesting critters. See HERE for my first (and only) photo encounter with one.
By the way, the Wikipedia article on these things is the most volatile of any that I have ever seen. Its history page shows that updates average around 10 per month, mostly to do and undo vandalism. Somehow the critter just seems to inspire people to inject nonsense into the article.
