Hi, my name is Dario and I'm from Italy. I am new to the forum and looking forward to participating in the discussions.
These two photos I've created are a combination of 12 individual photos, each of which was fused using Zerene Stacker in PMax, then merged together as a panorama using Photoshop. In Lightroom, I made adjustments to the tonal values but no detail corrections were applied.
The micrometric guide advance depth was 18 micrometers, taken with a Clone Mitutoyo 5x M Plan purchased on Aliexpress in 2021, coupled with ITL200 Clone, assembled in the configuration shown on closeuphotography.com
For the delight of my D7100's shutter, my next photos will be taken at 1/2 depth of field, to achieve a higher resolution, and using a double diffuser for lighting.
Female Oryctes nasicornis
Rhynchophorus ferrugineus
I am available for advice and any information requests.
Best regards,
Dario

New update with two 100% crops compared.
The difference is noticeable.
18 micrometers and single diffuser. vs 9 micrometers and double diffuser.

Nicely done! The weevil appears to have mites.
