My First Rhyssa lineolata

Post by AlP »

Pretty live specimen too big for macro, my first Rhyssa lineolata (photographically speaking). Nose to butt 25mm, nose to tippy tip, 55mm. Disregard sensor crud por favor. Canon 1Dx with 100mm macro and three Canon 580 EX II's with 6"x8" softboxes.

Side view. Delicate yet structurally interesting to me anyway.
