It is still winter in Poland, it was snowing today. There are no insects. In order to have something to photograph, I bought maggots in a terrarium shop and I bred flies myself. On Sunday I did the Zerene upgrade to Prosumer and I'm practicing slabbing. These are my first steps:
5DmkIV, 65mpe2x, 24EX twin speedlight towards the lens and reflected from the diffuser behind, 128 frames, 10 slabs, retouched in Zerene and PS. I will be grateful for criticism, only then I have a chance to improve.

A very fine picture! The subject is posed to be pretty life-like. Also, I think it was a good idea to use a light background, as that presumably reduces the appearance of halos around all those hairs.
When I zoom in a lot, I do see various artifacts that could be fixed. But you have to really look for those. Well done!
