Did you do much retouching or post-processing, like raising saturation? I ask because it looks great but a bit unnatural to me - more like artwork than a real flower. Not that I object to that, though!

Excellent. This is very different from flower stacks that I've seen.

Really lovely, Bob! How do you like the GFX100S? I use a GFX50S on an Arca-Swiss Universalis and have been strongly considering upgrading to the 100S.
Also, do you have a link to this photo in full resolution?
Keep it up!

On the 100s, So far so good!... For this price point I couldn't resist. I had been using a 50R, but this camera is quite the upgrade. By the way.. the raw files size is 210MB uncompressed on disk, compressed can half this value depending on the image, so stacking a large number of images requires a bit of memory and throughput. I have been concentrating on macro florals until the northeast US gets a real dose of spring and then will be using the camera on landscapes (using the GF 23mm f/4, GF 32-64mm), and walking around for some street photography using the new GF 80mm f/1.7.

As far as the Cambo XL35, it provides an excellent technical platform for these macro florals and if you are interested in images like I posted I would recommend picking one up used (I have added a stackshot stepping motor to the rear standard of mine).

I haven't experimented with high magnification macro as yet and I suspect that the Mitutoyo M Plan objectives don't have an image circle large enough for the "crop" medium format sensor (44mm x 33mm). I know that it was just about fitting the 35mm full frame format (not the 2X Mity which required the 35mm crop sensor).
