Blown power resistor

A wire wound resistor failure in a high voltage test system. Current arced from one winding to the next and the sustained arc vaporized wire back up into the encapsulation of the adjacent windings.

I agree, shows a gaping hole which was otherwise unnoticable.
Stereo also clicked easily into view without hardly any effort.
Some stereo's make you work hard but this one is easy on the eyes.
