A couple of butterflies

Today appears to be butterfly day - but most of them are white.

I was trying to get a better shot of this fella.....peacock

Beautiful butterflies

Around this time of year, they begin their mating ritual here in NC and everywhere you go you end up with butterflies pasted to the front of your car afterwards.

I tried to photograph a Comma the other day. The only place it would settle was on the back on my camera-holding hand!
