A few wide angle shots

Post by orionmystery »

Long time no post! Here are a few wide angle shots from Lupa Masa Jungle Camp in Poring, Sabah (Borneo).

Lifer for me! Up close with a Parablepharis kuhlii asiatica mantis. ID credit: Stefan Engelhardt. Venus Optics - Laowa15mm, 70D, diffused 270EX. Lupa Masa Jungle Kamp, Poring, Sabah (Borneo).

Love this mantis. At first I thought it was just a Dead Leaf mantis (Deroplatys sp.), and then I saw the horn on her head!

Couldn't get enough of her!

Hi Kurt,
Really interesting shots. What a mean looking praying mantis!

Incredible images.

That first pit viper photo, with oof background and bokeh is gorgeous. Must've been pretty close to the lens (and photographer)!
