Wow, I like the details a lot! It's a male for sure. Do you have a picture of the head as well? I woud love to know which one it is... I'm waiting for someone to photograph a Bunonema. It's a quite strange looking nematode. I find it sometimes, but the contrast pulled from our BX51 is not even coming close to this...

A male? I know not much about nematode biology but my research had me believe those droplet shaped features in the last photo are the female sex organs. Is that not so?

No, these are male supplementary organs, I think used in reproduction. Probably it's a member of the Tobrilidae, but that's not particularly a group where I have experience in.
