I have something somewhere that looks like this, it is a caterpillar or at least the one I have is. However, I cannot place a name to it. :D

OK,either too easy or you guys are too smart :lol:
It's an owlet moth caterpillar (Noctuidae);specifically a Brown-Hooded Owlet (Cucullia convexipennis)

Yep that's it and now I know the name of it. I see you had DOF problems with it too :lol: Funny thing though, I am not all that familar with a lot of this stuff. Most of what I have found out about insects, I have found out through this forum. When I first photographed one of these things, I was a bit puzzled as to which end was which, the markings on the tail and its shape suggested to me that it was the head but after a bit I figured it out. :lol:
