Red Pepper, Blue Sky...

Post by crocoite »

Also at the Westward Look hotel in Tucson, they have bunches of red peppers (or chillies?) hanging in bunches. This shot taken backlit...

Nice contrast between the colors of the peppers and the sky. The backlight gives out a nice glow to your subject.

Yes Steve, you are getting very creative here in this shot. The southwest is known for its spicy hot food...did you buy any?

You know that is a nice contrasty shot there. Like Sue mentioned the backlighting really sets off the subject. :D

An Afghanistan restaurant in Arizona, if that don't beat all!

Thanks Ken. I managed to get the sun behind it. And yes, an Afghanistan restaurant! Food was good too...

As mentioned above, I really like the creativity in the shot also. The colors, the angle with the trees in the distance, and perfectly keeping the sun hidden behind the pepper to backlight it. Very nice and artistic.
