Well, actually it is Nassula again. This year I will post only Nassulas. :) I found these suctoria attached to the colourful ciliates. Sometimes other Nassulas stayed glued to the tentacles but they could free themselves. I guess the Nassulas are only used for transport. Or would they also be prey? ...

Thanks friends, Bruce, I have always been intrigued by conjugation. Imagine how it would be if we humans would have such a mechanism. After conjugation we would be different persons.
