Yes, that's right. A couple thread conversion rings and then the reverse adapter for the 2x TC.

OK, I thought you were saying your effective mag was about 2:1 (or 1/2x, maybe that should be said 1:2). After seeing this I dug out my old Bushnell 2x converter and actually found all the parts laying around to reverse and mount it to the MPE. If I leave the reversing ring on the MPE the 2x TC goes...

So with mag of 2:1 that's about 2.5-4 inches across depending on your sensor size, right?

That seems small for this flower. I have an huge orange one and it would be about 8" across viewed like this one is in this image.

It definitely looks more like this one, very close in fact.

Therefore, not a tomato worm?

I believe it's dead from the parasites so I don't suppose any more will be learned than this.
