I admire your design skills. I like this because becoming immobile recently this would enable me to get my macro back to ground level in a productive way.
I would be very pleased if you would send your .stl's to share with me.
And Part II specs !!
Best Wishes, John

Hi
I was looking around using the Lens Finder on Surplus Shed and this came up in a search for something else. 285mm though.

Re: Robber fly (Machimus arthriticus)
Great post and images.
As a matter of interest does the Canon MP-E 65mm f/2.8 1-5x MACRO Lens do Focus Bracketing on the M6M2?

Re: Options on a Nikon Optiphot stand
First, the bolt hole spacing and center distances of the Nikon Labophot/Optiphot and the Olympus BH2 (BHT, BHTU, BHS) uprights are very close. My recollection is that slightly opening up the holes could get things securely attached and with the field lens centered under the stage. So if you can fin...

Hi Both
Thanks for the inputs.
(this is fun)
Have you encountered any need to purchase large Gb, fast R/W (more than R 100 / W 45), UHS-II SD cards instead of UHS-I?

Re: Mint moth and handheld, natural-light flower stacks
Hi Beatsy Great results which will entice me out with Canon Focus Bracketing. I don’t know anything about the equivalent Sony functions and it may be that they are not!! Forgive me but I need to ask a naive question. Are you recording video whilst running variable manual focus and then extracting fr...

Re: Canon M6 M2 focus stacking bracketing
Thanks ADi and Lou. I had not experimented with internal Focus Bracketing because I assumed that the official Canon List of compatible lenses was a limited list . I had no wish to blunder and have a repair bill with a locked up camera. But it now seems that the Canon List is a marketing list. So...

Re: Subimago-Exuvie
Thank you ADi.
I like the subject and the presentation.
But let me ask about "371*FB2" for example please.
So 371 = number of images
FB = Focus Bracketing
But FB2?

Hi Thank you for the reminder of a field course back in 1971 !! Did you mount the alga on a slide? Temporary or permanent mount? Would like to remember the details from decades ago but memory fails and notes not found. I do recall, I think, a glycerine mounting medium under cover glass ringed with b...

Re: Canon M6 M2 focus stacking bracketing
For the internal FB of the M6M2 I mostly use the EF100mm f/2.8L Macro IS USM but it is already on your list.Best, ADi Hi again ADi As I have a decision to make between the 70/200 L and the 100 L (budget would not take both !) may I just ask what has caused you to mostly use the 100 L for internal f...

Re: Canon M6 M2 focus stacking bracketing
Hi ADi
Thanks. That 22mm option with DCR 250 is a great one and I will be looking to find a good copy.
I have a 100mm 2.8 (macro) USM but it is Non L.
So it looks that I shall have to go looking for a deal on 70/200 L IS USM or 100 L USM.
Best, John

Thanks ADi.
I am surprised that there has been so little experimentation so far with other lenses on such a useful utility.
