problem with light

Hi guys,

I have a problem with light. I have bought a couple of ampoules LED of 50 HZ each, however i can´t obtein photos with a good light and all my result are dark and blurry.

Equipament:

Nikon 4x objetive
iso 400
F / 4.0

Any suggest? Thanks

is for controlled extreme macro and using focus stacking.

about artificial ligh i was looking for something like the sun light, so for you responses i will need a led or halogen light but must be continue light.

Do you have the link about how cooling the insect, and where Charles Krebs has suggested using carbon dioxide (Air Duster) ?

how I can place the insect on camera, if my camera is positioned horizontally?
