Thanks Betty, yes light not aligned well, for right eye, small portion diffuser flash external diffuser subject (I dare not think difficulties with 10x and positioning light :cry: ) :D 50mm is AF Nikkor 50mm f/1.8D with nikon el 50 f/2.8 not tried, but I think it is best traditional 50mm at f/4 with...

light problem can not clone your light and very difficult :D

aluminium main function has been completed reflexes eyes , and added further light facial wasp, black shadow complete feeling metal robotics :D

I find enjoyable image, perhaps find fault is higher background brightness antennas, antennas for better lighting would have better balanced final result, are only subtleties, image and beautiful!!

Rik you my thoughts centered,

global stack is 20 frames, hair and eye edges is 28 frames,
aligned with CombineZM, stacked with Tufuse,

Aluminum is used domopack, Fervi T015/E table for movement with a resolution of 0.01 mm (can also 0.005 mm :D )

Blurry management is better in the first picture, with bugs is not always possible to control blur, dalantech has good examples of control blur, light reflections add definition virtual,I think it is only way to manage full format at high magnification.

I agree to experiment with soft light, the central quality seems good, perhaps too 210mm compress perspective, or subject compressed?, tried with focal smaller and 50mm at f / 4?, quality board enough?

Thanks Aynia, Tim I think this is normal iridescent,light flash very side,when meet other subject better observe his behaviour,because very voracious predator and very fast in eating prey :D
