Re: Failed Wire EDM Hole

Excellent use of 3D. Only after viewing (and making sense of) the 3D did I know what I was looking at. Thank you Sim P. le. Regarding the conical rocking video...it seems to be difficult for me to keep it in proper perspective. One strategy that has worked several times now to invert it back to its...

Re: Prototrichia slime mold

Until today I would not have imagined that “slime” and “gorgeous” could be meaningfully used in the same sentence. My imagination was greatly deficient. Your slime image is indeed gorgeous!

Re: fly wing

Very nice images! Thank you for the link to the higher resolution stereo image. It is amazing how well synthetic stereo captures staggering levels of detail in a very low tech package.

Fascinating documentation. Thank you for the context image showing where these bristles are. It's amazing how versatile proteins are to biological structure and function.

Re: The last Catmint

Beautiful image. We just had our first year of catmint in our garden this year. We have the pink variety. The blue on yours is quite pretty.

This looks great! I can see a few flickers caused by stacking decisions, but nothing that bothers me,

Re: Spider Belly

Generated 61 frames using the conical path option in Zerene. X=+/-3 deg, Y=+/-3 deg. Assembled the frames into an MP4 using Photoshop CS6. https://flic.kr/p/2paEYdY I see that as the same link to the first stacked image, not a movie. Re: Spider Belly

By the way, I just now downloaded the full resolution stereo from Flickr and loaded it into an interactive viewer so I could zoom in and look around. It's very nice even at actual pixels of 10944 x 3648. Both StereoPhoto Maker and Zerene Stacker worked well as viewers. I played around with memory r...
