Nice. I came across one of these a couple of weeks ago, happily munching on some kind of wasp/bee it had just caught on some goldenrod. Didn't have any close-up gear with me, so all I got were a handfull of mediocre shots with my 70-300VR in low light. :cry: (grrrr; very frustrating)

yes, I'm sure that the first one is looking to get much more intimate than just a hug.

Very nice set of images, Kurt. When i see ticks, they're usually sprinting up my pants or shirt looking for a choice place to grab a bite.
