with a step angle of 0.36°, it looks quite interesting. It is not a lightweight motor with 0,68 kg! Normally those motors run with 9 to 28 V. Therefore the given voltage of 2,7V is strange. I can't find it in the datasheet again.

thank you for your notes, it is a starting point. I know that there is always the option to get approximating values by testing. In this case, I just wanted to get some theoretical background. Meanwhile I found an older post about the DRC-250 (by google, not by the forum search). http://www.photomac...

Raynox DCR-250 - length of extention tube

Hello, I would like to construct a tube system for Mitutoyo-Objectives and want to include a Raynox DCR-250 lens as a tube lens. I know that it is not the standard 200mm-lens. I read on a few posts, that the focal length is 125 mm or that the flange-sensor length is 118 mm. Both are not contradictor...

Hi Rik and Pau, thanks for your hint. It seems to work. But I'm not able to get it completely black. The tubus itself is made of aluminium eloxated in black. But this was not enough. I tried black paper or black textile. But I cannot remove the reflections completely. What can I put inside of the tu...

Dear Oscar,

I would like to test your software Macrofotografia which you have shown in your youtube video.

Can you provide it to me for testing?

How do you control the stepper motor. Is it based on Trinamic Motion Control Languange (TMCL) or the simpler version TMC?

Thanks, Hans

Hi Rik,

thanks for activating BBC!

Yes, the scale should be b/w.

And yes, there is an extention tube, in which the tube lens is mounted. And this is shining light. The bellow it self is black.

I will put some black paper or so in it and test it.

Thanks, Hans

Contrast with Canon 1000D

Hello, after reading posts of this forum for a long I have an own question. I built up a photo system with - some Mitutoyo objectives (2x, 5x, 20x), - a tube lens (chinese achromat lens, f=200m) - mounted on a bellow and - as a camera a Canon 1000D or a Tuptec 14MP-microscope camera - as illuminatio...
