Callus remover

For this series I thinned down the remover with acetone. This yielded a thinner film and slightly more working time for the smear. Stitches from two to four images.

Yes, the active ingredient is 17% Salicylic Acid, with camphor, castor oil, ethanol ether, and nitro cellulose.
Since this drug sets up rather rapidly when making a smear slide, I think my next step will be to thin it with acetone to make it less syrupy.

One of our cats sleeps on an afghan that is on top of a large ottoman ( I don't want to get into geopolitics here) and when I lifted it up to refold it, I found the ottoman sprinkled with flakes about half the size of a sesame seed and the same color. It is my understanding that current travels on the surface of wires, so this may a means of effecting more efficient transmission.
