A finch got trapped in our garage and from there had the poor taste to get into our office, which, overnight, our cats managed to radish our libary, leaving us in the morning with a finch head in the kitchen, and a trashed libary --feathers all over the house. (May be a Bulwer-Lytton entry next year...

A little mushy for my taste and some very high CA. In my opinion, not a very good optic.

Thank you. Yes, when I first encountered this crystal, I was blown away. I have since tried to create these droplet crystals with an atomizer to no avail. This is one of those Brett Weston "happy accidents."

Thanks, Harald. Boric Acid did not cross-polarize, so I decided to explore the crystaline structure by feathering the darkfield stop on another scope.
