Re: Anyone Doing Field Stacking With a Rail?
Hello! I am using the "all-in-one" macro rail of my development. As for me is it best solution for field macrophotography - portable, with build-in battery and with step from 1/1000mm to 10mm. You can find more information about my rails here https://www.photomacrography.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=8&...

Re: My workshop (ideas and projects)
Thanks for your feedback!
So far, I decided not to make a separate site for the project, but to create an FB page and YouTube channel.
I am currently working on a new firmware with an improved interface. I'm open for custom macrophoto solutions and ideas (rails, stages etc)

Re: My workshop (ideas and projects)
Macro rails with video-mode. Some of my clients work in advertising photography and it is important for them to have a universal device - for stacking and for close-up video (food photography, jewelry photography). For them, I developed a hybrid of a slider and a macro rail with a long travel dista...

My workshop (ideas and projects)
All my life I worked as a designer and a programmer - identity, web, animation, games etc. And all my works was digital. However, I always dreamed of working with my hands and constructing different hardware. Some years ago, one of my friends ask me to construct a slider for videography. This pushed...

Re: Laser aiming and focus in photomacrography
Very useful idea and device. Some days ago I broke my eyes with MP-E 65 5x magnification an outdoor photo session. Very difficult to point objects when the live-view screen is blurry. I developed several versions of 3D printed laser pointers for my Canon and Nikon cameras. I used 5mw D=6mm laser mod...

Thank you!
You can use this battery (https://www.aliexpress.com/item/12-in-3 ... 10408.html) to power your setup and add silicone case for weather protection. But wires is realy big problem for outdoor macro.
