Photography adaptor for Wild microscope

I have since long a Wild M3Z microscope. Some time ago, I thought I could use it to make pictures of tiny things, and bought a Leica HU beamsplitter Phototube with iris and a Leica MCB-225 Photoprojectiv 2,5x. You can mount any camera on it with a t-adaptor. Now that I'm into image stacking with the...

Thanks for your interest Dave. The setup is essentially the same as with my Chara-picture: http://www.photomacrography.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=17001&highlight= Lighting is done with one flash in front and two in the back, no further optics, only a cardboard box. The animals were kept in...

Seeds

Dear all, I've seen a book recently about seeds, made with an electron scanning microscope. I thought this would be a great idea for a focus stacking sunday afternoon. :D I found some seeds in my garden, this is the result. I hope you like it. Oh, I'm sorry I noticed your question too late.

I'm sure the real stuff is more convenient and much lighter to use.

Regards,

Hi Des, Yes, I made one myself. I took a small 12.4v closed lead battery, something like this http://www.alcatronic.nl/448-649-large/loodaccu-12v-7-2ah-panasonic.jpg The connector that goes into the controller is somewhat standard for battery chargers in cars. I had an old charger that was broke and...

No need to apologize of course. I guess it was not you who invented XML in the first place nor that nearly all IT jargon is in English. Well, I can blame the Dutch for that, something to do with the second Anglo-Dutch war and New Amsterdam becoming New York. I'm slabbing away now, no worries Rollin

:smt038 Thank you very much for your help. You know, in our language Elf means Fairy? I've been thinking why it is so hard to understand for me, but there is a double language barrier. First, I have to cope with English jargon before I can begin with the structure of the XML. Imagine all these words...

Zerene's batch scripts are human-readable XML. Rik, Humans come in many types. A sheet of Rachmaninov music is also human readable (dots go up= higher pitch: very easy). I'm struggling all day now with this, and I'm still nowhere. I keep on trying, but for people who hear the word xml for the first...

Craig, Thank you for your kind words. For most of the images I used my welled slide. For the newt egg I had to make more space by adding pieces of a broken slide at both sides of the well and a normal slide on top. Without this cover, the image was not so nice. By pressing the egg a little bit, I li...

Rik, Although I certainly use coverslips for water mites and daphnia, in this case I did not. The plant itself was too wide. The structures themselves were tiny, so the welled slide was deep enough to put them under water completely. Maybe some explanation about the setup is requiered. I'm a general...

No problem, this is the setup. A carboard box, lined with black paper, holes at the side for the flashes and one hole on top for the slide with a well. I used a step size of 5µm. These structures are very tiny! http://www.photomacrography.net/forum/userpix/1447__VR69868_opstellingdaphnia_1.jpg If yo...
