Re: What to do when a 10 billion Pixel scan is too small?

Ah, great to see my good friend Emilien Leonhardt, with whom I have spend plenty of fun hours playing with the incredible Hirox 3D microscope.
Although with a 5 to 6 digit pricetag (depending on which couple of accessoires and extentions you add) I will likely never own one...:-(

Was that the aperture used on the Tamron or the Canon?
Did you do the ''wide open and unmount the lens" method on the 50mm?

Dung-flies

First day out shooting, after a long absence. Not much growth or bugs yet.
Probably Scathophagidae stercoraria.

If answered, I will post the outcome.

Indeed a very artful composition.
Wouldn't mind to have this as a big print on the wall.

If I can't find a post or article with the standard Search within the Forum it is best to use the powerful indexing capacity of Google's searchbot. Enter "web cam lens microscope lens fisheye site:photomacrography.net" ( play a bit with various keywords) and it will return a bunch of articles/posts....

Welcome to the Forum , Macroman182.

Would you like to elaborate on how you took these shots?
Share what camera/lens/lighting etc is used; did you use some sort of ringflash?
The pictures look very good for first post !

Truly excellent picture, John.
This one look less 'hot/blown out' than the previous posted ant and uses good diiffusion.
Any additional info on the "10:1 N.A.0,30 from Germany" ?
