Yeah, if you could delete those posts that would be appreciated! Everyone should already know about their own country's tax and shipping systems. Discussing such arrangements should be done in private anyway. An argument like this in someone's sales thread is pretty inappropriate IMO. I also think i...

This thread is NOT about any sale. This thread is NOT about any adaptation. This thread is NOT about any heroics. Please discuss those things in the appropriate places. If you're interested in buying some lens that's listed or adapting it then please ask about it in THAT thread. This thread IS about...

Tesselator, do you mind enlarging on this? What is it about Samyang, No. We can leave it. It's totally 100% off topic anyway. As for adaptation you won't get aperture coupling but everything else is the same just using a leitax ring. So I guess it's not actually "identical" but it's not a door stop...

Yeah, Chris is incorrect. The OM one will work identically to the Nikon one when both are placed on a Nikon digital body. Or a Pentax body etc. The only one that's got any special functionality is the EOS EF mount one. While it's still manual focus the EOS bodies can control the aperture - but at th...

Hi! I'm interested if there is a comparison somewhere between the C/Y 100/2.8 Zeiss and the currently produced Zeiss 100/2, do you have a link? There was at some point extensive threads on Nikongear about the Voigtländer 125/2.5, the Zeiss 100/2 and the Leica 100/2.8. My conclusion was that each ha...

Currently a tray of 30 for sale, $15.00 for the lot at present. If they are 'good' lenses we, as a group, may get a bargain. http://www.ebay.com/itm/360438163254?ru=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.com%3A80%2Fsch%2Fi.html%3F_from%3DR40%26_trksid%3Dm570.l1313%26_nkw%3D360438163254%26_sacat%3DSee-All-Categories...

Good catches. A more productive search is for 42mm reverse . One unit is $2.98 with free shipping from China. How is this possible?? --Rik I think the Chinese government is 100% subsidizing shipments to the US. It's a form of dumping. Yes, that's what is happening! It's been happening for the past ...

OK, I planted this lens and watered it. I'm not expecting too much to happen tho. :D Why I'm selling it is because I can't afford to keep it. I got it with the sole purpose of testing it and then passing it on. Like so: http://www.photomacrography.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=16195 . If the prices sky-...

Thanks Chris! I don't think there will ever be a direct competitor tho. There's the Zeiss (MP 100 group), the Leica (APO Macro Elmarit 100/2.8 ), and this C. Voigtlander (besides of course the likes of the Tamron 90, the Nikkor 105, and so on). And each lens has it's caveats. The Zeiss has it's 3D-i...

Holy cow, I didn't realize I got mine so cheap!
One I was watching on e-bay. Same lens as mine.
I guess someone could make a quick $1,000 turn-around on this. :O
